You know that epidemic that you keep hearing about on the news? Yeah. I've got that. It's awful.
So here's my public service announcement for the day: Get a flu shot if you haven't already. The flu sucks.

feel better. We've had it about three times in the last few months and my kids have had their shots.
Well then, my dear, I will NOT be calling you today. We just got over something...it sucks.
OMG, you poor thing! Get plenty of fluids (NOT Mountain Dew, Becky!) and as much rest as the family will allow you.
It sucks, I know. I just got over it. After years of saying "I must have the flu" whenever I so much as sneezed, I now know how wrong I was. If you truly have the flu, you cannot peel yourself off the bed with a forklift. It's that bad.
